London: the city of the glam and fabulous! 6 days in London. Off we go to London for our first official assignment in the city. Unlike the typical southern weather, there was a lot of rain and hardly any sunshine. Good thing we had booked a studio instead of relying on the unpredictable weather! Reading was the first stop for a music video coverage (another first for us). The second shoot was for a luxury jewellery company based in London. Day 1 was a simple catalogue-style shoot in the studio featuring the products on various models. We finished with a few editorials. Day 2 was our main editorial-stlye shoot on location. We had a rocky start with the manager of our first location being very unfriendly. Let’s just say we didn’t leave them any tip!
Location 2 manager was brilliant! We were left to do our thing while they went about their business. Rain started meaning we had to shoot quite a bit in the rain. Turned out great though!
Shoot 3 was with this season’s trendy African prints. The model and MUA were so brilliant! They worked very hard and didn’t complain one bit!
Work over! It was then time to explore a bit of London. Was treated to a nice hot Belgian waffle from a tiny street shop. A delicious and addictive treat
