I believe a section of an article that I read recently explains true love very well. It explains that love has FOUR parts to it namely: Agape love (unconditional commitment to the well being of the beloved), Phileo love (friendship & companionship), Eros love (emotional excitement about the beloved) and Venus love (sexual oneness, God’s wedding gift to the couple).
I agree with this definition with all my heart.
